The work has paid off - time to enjoy the meal and good company.
Ready for guests to arrive!
The work was as efficient as it was beautiful. One of the lessons the interns took from their first week was that they can get a lot more done in a day than they had ever imagined - without having to cut corners!
The Home Arts Interns worked independently with an expert to hone their skills - and learn many new ones.
As everyone got to know each other, we realized that the Home Arts Interns brought unique and varied backgrounds. Mary Lou cooks at home for her family of 13, and Emmy ran a small catering business.
The girls started the week with a hike at Great Falls park in Virginia.
